COAP 2025 is the official platform for GATE-qualified candidates to access M.Tech admission offers from IITs and job opportunities from PSUs. Registration for GATE COAP 2025 will open on May 13 for Round 1 counselling. IIT Roorkee announced the GATE 2025 results on March 19. Candidates with valid GATE scores from 2023, 2024, or 2025 can participate. 

COAP is not an application portal for MTech admissions. Candidates must apply separately to IITs for MTech programs or to PSUs for jobs. COAP only displays offers based on the selection process. Registration for COAP 2025 is mandatory to apply for MTech admissions at IITs.

What is COAP?

The Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) was launched in 2017 to help candidates choose their preferred M.Tech admission offers from participating IITs or Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) job offers. Initially, eight IITs were part of COAP, but now, 24 IITs and one PSU (NPCIL) participate in the process to fill M.Tech seats.

Each year, the GATE organising institute from the previous year manages COAP. For COAP 2025, IISc Bengaluru is the coordinating institute. The participating institutes include IISc Bengaluru and 24 IITs, such as IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Madras, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Roorkee, and many more.
