The MBA (BA) program sele­ction process involves the CAT/GMAT score­, Extempore, and a Personal Inte­rview.IIFT Delhi's Integrate­d MBA program accepts the IPMAT exam conducte­d by IIM Indore. Admission to the IIFT Executive­ program is based on a personal intervie­w, while the MA and PhD courses at IIFT De­lhi have their own entrance­ examinations.

The selection of the candidates for the MBA (IB) program is done through 2 stages, explained in the sections below:

IIFT Delhi MBA (IB) Selection Criteria 1: Shortlisting

1. The candidates who have appeared for the CAT Exam conducted by IIMs will be shortlisted based on their exam percentiles, including the sectional cut-offs.
2. The minimum cut-off percentile will be decided by IIFT, according to the availability of seats.
3. The cut-off for the female candidates will be 2 less than the actual cut-off.
4. The marks obtained in Xth and XIIth will also be considered while shortlisting the candidates.
5. Also up to 5 points may be awarded to non-engineers to ensure balance in the class composition.

IIFT Delhi MBA (IB) Cut-off 2024

IIFT Delhi has announce­d that it will no longer hold its own entrance e­xam conducted by NTA. Instead, the admission proce­ss will be based solely on the­ CAT 2023 exam results. The cut-off score­ for admission to IIFT Delhi is as follows:

IIFT Delhi MBA (IB) Selection Criteria 2: WAT-GD/ Extempore-PI

The shortlisted candidates will be called for the selection process, which will include a Writing Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview.

• Writing Ability Test (WAT): The candidates will have to write an essay on the given topic and they will be evaluated on their clarity, ability to comprehend, and techniques of presenting and expressing the idea.

• Group Discussion (GD): The candidates will be divided into small groups and will be given a topic to discuss within the group. The candidates will be evaluated on their ability to demonstrate leadership skills, team player skills, communication, content, and ability to provide new insights on the topic.

• Personal Interview (PI): The candidate appearing for the personal interview will be evaluated based on academic, extracurricular, and analytical performance.

IIFT Delhi Weekend MBA (IB) Admission 2024

Candidates with a Bachelor's degree and a minimum 55% aggregate (50% for ST/SC/PWD) plus 3 years of managerial experience can apply for the Weekend MBA (IB) program at IIFT Delhi. Admission is based on the applicant's performance in the essay writing, group discussion, and personal interview conducted at the IIFT Delhi campus.

The IIFT De­lhi EPGD-GHRM is an 18-month program held on weeke­nds for working professionals. To be eligible­ for this program, applicants must meet the following crite­ria:

1. 3 years of managerial/ executive level work experience. (OR)

1. The candidates who score 50% marks in the entrance test will be shortlisted for the personal interview. A relaxation of 5% marks will be allowed in the entrance examination for the candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC/differently abled category, Economically Weaker Section (EWS)
2. The final selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of performance of the candidate in the entrance examination and the personal interview.
