TAPMI, also known as T. A. Pai Management Institute, was founded in 1980 and is regarded as one of India's Top Management Institutes. About TAPMI Manipal

Founded in 1980, TAPMI, also known as T. A. Pai Management Institute, is regarded as one of India's Top Management Institutes. Nestled in the tranquil hills of Manipal, TAPMI is one of just 19 B-schools in India to hold an AACSB accreditation. It was placed 42nd by NIRF 2023. Though TAPMI also provides PhD and MBA courses, its flagship MBA program, which covers general, HR, BKFS, marketing, and international business, is the institution's most well-known offering.In 2024, the highest package of INR 32.02 LPA was extended to the largest class of 368 MBA students.

For the past several years, TAPMI has maintained an unbroken 100% placement record. Results from national level entrance exams such as the CAT, XAT, NMAT, and GMAT are used to determine admission to this program. Extempore, group discussions, and personal interviews (PI) are then conducted. The TAPMI CAT cutoff often stays around 95%.
