Established in 1984 in Bijapur, Karnataka, Al-Ameen Medical College is recognised by the Medical Council of India and affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. The college offers an MBBS program with 100 seats and various PG courses, including Diploma, MD, and MS, with a combined capacity of 32 seats. Admission to the MBBS program requires a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at the 10+2 level (40% for SC/ST candidates) and selection through the NEET UG exam. Candidates must have an MBBS from an accredited medical college in order to be considered for an MD, MS, or PG diploma. In addition, the candidates must be registered as medical practitioners with MCI and have finished their required one-year rotational internship by March 31 of the academic year. To get admitted to PG Diploma, MD, and MS programmes, candidates must also have a valid NEET PG score.
