ARKA JAIN University was established in the year 2017 by the Jharkhand State Legislature under “The ARKA JAIN University Act” and is recognised by UGC. It is the first state private university in the Kolhan region (comprising of three districts) of the state. The university has the necessary affiliations, recognitions, and memberships from such statutory and affiliating bodies as AICTE, BCI, PCI, OCI, INC, JNRC, AIU, UGC, and ASCO. It is also an ISO-certified “Educational Organization Management System” University. The 5000-plus students, 30-plus programmes (at diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels), 7 schools, Research & Development Cell, and 175-plus faculty members are the hallmarks of the University. Programmes are offered in the domains of engineering, technology, management, commerce, biotechnology, pharmacy, optometry, English, mass communication, fashion design, law, and nursing.

Admission to the courses offered by the University is either based on the candidate’s performance in the previous qualifying examination or on the candidate’s performance in the national/ state level entrance examination.
