Established originally in 1969 as Christ College and granted autonomy in 2004 by AICTE and UGC, Christ University has expanded to include five campuses across Bangalore, Kengeri, Bannerghatta, Yeshwanthpur, Delhi NCR, and Pune Lavasa. The Kengeri campus, founded in 2009 on Mysore Road, offers comprehensive facilities including specialized buildings, a well-equipped library, research centers, and student accommodations. It provides a diverse array of undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programs in fields such as Engineering & Technology, Architecture, Business and Management, and Social Sciences. Admission to these programs involves clearing university-conducted entrance tests, with specific criteria for different courses like BTech, BArch, MTech, MArch, MBA, and PhD programs, ensuring a holistic approach to education and research.
At the undergraduate level, the Christ University Kengeri campus provides a 4-year BTech & BTech (Lateral) programme. Under the five departments of Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Mechanical and Automobile Engineering, this programme is offered in thirteen distinct specialisations. Candidates must pass an entrance exam, perform well in a personal interview, and demonstrate assessment skills in order to be considered for admission to the BTech programme.

An MBA programme lasting two years is available through the School of Business and Management at the Christ University Kengeri campus. MAT, CAT, CMAT, XAT, GMAT, GRE, and ATMA exam results must be legitimate for candidates to be considered for admission to the MBA programme.
There are eight distinct PhD programmes available at the Christ University Kengeri campus. The School of Social Sciences, School of Architecture, and School of Engineering & Technology are the organisations that provide this programme. Applicants for this programme may be those who have earned a bachelor's or master's degree in any relevant field. The university's written exam and interview process serve as the sole criteria for selection. Students who have qualified for CUG-CSIR NET (including JRF), SLET/GATE/CEED, or UGC-NET (including JRF) are not required to take the admission exam.
