HGU offers admission to its UG and PG programs based on the scores of national-level entrance exams, ensuring a fair and competitive selection process. In addition to entrance-based admissions, the university provides direct admission to students from hilly regions and rank holders from all central and state boards across India. While the majority of courses are offered through entrance exam results, MAHGU also accepts students on the basis of academic merit, or other criteria deemed appropriate, to fill any vacant seats. Application Process for HGU

1. Candidates can apply online via the MAHGU website or submit a downloaded form with a INR 1,000 demand draft.
2. Anti-Ragging affidavit needs to be submitted by both students and parents after admission.
3. Shortlisting is based on entrance exam scores, like MAT/CAT for MBA or MAHGUEE for other courses.
4. Group discussion and personal interview may be conducted for some programs.
5. Shortlisted candidates attend counselling for seat allocation.
6. Seat confirmation requires fee payment.
7. Ensure eligibility for the chosen program before applying.
8. Admission is confirmed after document verification and fee payment.

Documents Required for HGU

1. Mark sheets and certificates of Class 10th and 12th
2. Entrance exam scorecards (JEE Advanced, GATE, IIT JAM, CAT, etc.)
3. Valid photo ID proof (Aadhar card, passport, etc.)
4. Passport-sized photographs
5. Caste certificate (if applicable)
6. PwD certificate (if applicable)
7. Migration certificate from the previous institution
8. Character certificate
9. Income certificate (if applying for any scholarship or fee concession)
