The IIT Bombay Placement 2024 concluded with an average annual package of INR 23.5 LPA, though the minimum salary offered dropped to INR 4 Lakhs. Approximately 75% of students secured jobs, with 1,475 offers accepted, marking a decline from last year's 82% placement rate. Notably, 22 students received offers exceeding INR 1 crore annually, and 78 international offers were accepted by students from companies across various countries. The Engineering and Technology sector saw the highest recruitment, while IT/Software jobs were the second largest category with 307 students receiving offers. The median package stood at INR 17.92 LPA, and the overall placement rate was 74.53%.
