IIT Guwahati Placement

The IIT Guwahati Placement 2024 report is yet to be released. Based on the previous year's data, the highest salary package offered in 2023 was INR 2.4 crore per annum (CSE). A total of 246 companies from sectors such as IT/Software, Finance, and Non-Tech profiles, along with Core Engineering, Design, and Education, provided placement opportunities. The overall placement rate for IIT Guwahati was 78.04%, with 20 international offers made. In 2023, 83.03% of B.Tech students and 72.89% of M.Tech students secured placements.

Additionally, 215 Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) were extended to IIT Guwahati candidates. The highest CTC for M.Tech/M.Des students was INR 57.70 LPA. Some of the prominent recruiters included HPCL, Navi, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, Schlumberger, Piramal, TVS R&D, and GAIL.
