About the IIT Tirupati
IIT Tirupati was founded in 2015 and began classes in temporary facilities before shifting to the Yerpedu campus. Guided initially by IIT Madras, it now functions independently under its own director. Entrance Exams Required:
- UG: JEE Advanced followed by JoSAA counselling
- PG: GATE (M.Tech), JAM (M.Sc), UGC‑CSIR NET for MS/Ph.D.
- Ph.D: Written test + interview or direct from M.Tech
Admission Process:
- Qualify the relevant entrance exam
