Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT) Bhopal, established in 1960, is an Institute of National Importance offering programs in engineering, planning, management, and more. The library at the institute houses over 114,694 books, along with CDs, periodicals, journals, newspapers, and e-journals. It features a digital library and is divided into seven divisions, including acquisition, circulation, and data entry.The campus has 10 hostels, with 9 for boys and 1 for girls, providing single and shared occupancy.
A separate hostel for 350 NRI students is under construction.The institute offers extensive sports facilities, including badminton, basketball, and squash courts, a swimming pool, and table tennis. It also has well-equipped labs for various engineering disciplines, a cafeteria, gym, hospital, auditorium, and additional facilities such as a bank, post office, ATM, and shopping center.
