Pune is home to MIMA Institute of Management. MITCON Consultancy & Engineering Services Ltd. founded it in 2005. The AICTE has authorized the institute.

MIMA provides PGDM in a number of specializations. A shortlist of candidates is created for admission using the CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/ATMA criteria. However, a number of factors influence the final decision.

Applications are available for download from the institute's website or can be submitted online. In order to apply for PGDM, students must pay INR 1000/-.

MIMA Institute of Management PGDM Selection Criteria

The institute selects candidates in 2 stages. The first stage is shortlisting and the second one is GDPI.

1. Shortlisting of students is done on the basis of their score in MH-MBA CET/CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA/CMAT/ GMAT.
2. The institute will further call the students for Group Discussion and personal Interview.
3. Those who perform excellent in both the rounds are selected for PGDM admission.
4. However, the institute considers various components for final selection such as entrance exam score, GDPI, merit in 10th & 12th and work experience (if any).
5. Finally, MIMA Institute of Management will publish a merit list containing the names of all selected candidates.
6. To confirm the admission, selected applicants need to pay INR 50,000/- along with the necessary documents within 7 days of display of merit list.
