Undergraduate Course - B.Tech

1. Candidates applying for a Bachelor’s degree at NM Institute of Engineering and Technology, Bhubaneswar should have passed their 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies
2. Candidates must have obtained at least 135 marks (45%) in case of the general category or 130 marks (40%) in case of the SC/ ST category in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/ Biology / Biotechnology / Computer Science/ Technical Vocational Subject/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies
3. Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks for candidates belonging to the reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at the lateral entry are exhausted
4. B.Tech applicants must secure requisite cut-offs in OJEE / JEE Mains

Postgraduate Course - M.Tech / MBA / MCA

1. Candidates applying for a Masters in at NM Institute of Engineering and Technology must have passed their Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant fields.  
2. Candidates must have also secured 50% marks (45% in case of reserved category) in the qualifying examination.
3. Applicants for an MBA at NM Institute of Engineering and Technology must appear and score required cut-offs in CMAT/CAT/MAT/XAT.
