About NERIST Admission

NERIST admissions are entrance-based, followed by counseling conducted by the institute. For certificate and undergraduate programs, including B.Tech, B.Tech (Lateral), and B.Sc (Forestry), NERIST conducts the NEE entrance exam. B.Tech admissions are based on JEE Main and NEE-II scores. All undergraduate engineering programs are NBA-accredited. Postgraduate admissions for M.Tech, M.Sc, and MBA require a written test, with M.Tech and M.Sc candidates also eligible through GATE scores. MBA admissions are based on merit in CAT, MAT, XAT, or CMAT, followed by GD/PI. Ph.D. admissions are through an entrance exam and interview. NERIST reserves 80% of seats for North East candidates and 10% for All India candidates.

Selection Process of NERIST
