Admission to a broad range of courses in the domains of medicine, dentistry, physiotherapy, Ayurveda, pharmacy, and allied health sciences in many specialisations is available at the UG, PG, and PhD levels at RGUHS. RGUHS is connected to every college and institution in Karnataka that specialises in medicine and health sciences. MCI and UGC both recognise the university. Merit and entrance exams are the only criteria used for admission to all of the courses.
Undergraduate entry to the MBBS program is available through RGUHS. Applicants must go for counselling after receiving a valid NEET UG score. Applicants may submit an application to any college affiliated with RGUHS.
Candidates with 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry and Biology with an aggregate of 50% marks from a recognized board are eligible for admission to the MBBS program at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
Admission to UG programs in dentistry, nursing, physical therapy, Ayush, and allied health sciences is available at RGUHS in a number of specialisations. Candidates that meet the requirements are chosen depending on how well they performed on the relevant entrance exams.
For admission to UG courses, Candidates must have passed the 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics as compulsory subjects with an aggregate of 50% marks from a recognised board.
The Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences also accepts students for postgraduate programs in a variety of specialisations, including MDS, MPT, M.Sc., M.Pharm, and MD/MS. Candidates that meet the requirements are chosen depending on how well they performed on the relevant entrance exams.
Merit in NEET SS is the basis for admission to RGUHS Super-Speciality courses like DM and M.Ch, which are then followed by counselling. Admission to DM and M.Ch courses is available to candidates with MD/MS or DNB degrees.
For three to five years, depending on the type of study and the student's success, RGUHS offers entry to the PhD program. To obtain their PhDs, students must perform original research, produce a thesis, and defend it in front of an expert panel.
