There are several steps to take in order to gain admission into SJBIT College:

1. Admission forms are available at the college campus and online.

2. Payment for the form and prospectus can be made in cash (₹500) or in the form of a DD in the favour of ‘The Principal, SJB Institute of Technology, Kengeri, Bangalore South’.
3. A detailed list of documents to be carried at the time of admission is available on college website.

SJBIT College has many members of faculty with numerous years of experience. Some of the professors with the highest years of experience include:

1. Dr. Krishna A.N. - With a BE, ME and PhD, Professor Krishna has 23 years of experience.
2. Dr. Srikantaiah K.C. - Professor Srikantaiah has 20 years of experience and holds a BE, ME, and PhD.
3. Dr. Naveena C - With a BE, M.Tech and PhD, Professor Naveena has 13 years of experience.
