What Students Are Asking About MHT CET Registration!

Students on Reddit are sharing concerns about the difficulty of MHT CET and whether it’s worth the stress, especially when compared to national-level exams.

Here are some of the recent posts regarding MHT CET registration:

A Reddit user in r/JEENEETards posted:

“Those who have registered for MHT-CET, can a non-Maharashtra domicile person take admission in government colleges through it, like VJTI or COEP?”

Insights: This user highlights confusion regarding admission eligibility for top Maharashtra colleges, such as VJTI or COEP, through the MHT CET. Many aspirants outside Maharashtra are unsure whether MHT CET scores will be accepted or if JEE Main is their only path.

Another Reddit user in r/CATpreparation posted:

“The website is not allowing us to sign in(after registration), helpdesk is not responding to emails & helpline numbers are never pickup. Tried from multiple emails...same issue.”

Insights: This post highlights frustration with technical roadblocks encountered after registration, such as login issues and unresponsive support channels. Candidates facing errors feel helpless and anxious as they try to access their MHT CET profiles before the deadline.

What do we infer from these posts?

These key observations reflect what many students are currently facing:

  • Many non-Maharashtra students remain unclear about the eligibility rules, despite official notices, especially regarding premier government colleges.
  • Poor response from helpdesks adds to registration pressure, with tech issues going unresolved before major deadlines.
  • The lack of transparency and timely support can derail well-intentioned candidates and increase exam stress unnecessarily.

Tip: Always download and save every confirmation step, registration form, payment receipt, and email acknowledgements, to stay on track if login issues occur later.

With the MHT CET registration 2025 attracting thousands of candidates each year, attention to detail in the process is crucial. Ensuring eligibility, accurate document uploads, and timely payment can prevent common registration issues and delays. Be proactive in completing your MHT CET registration to avoid any last-minute hassle.
