JEE Mains 2026 Exam Day Guidelines
Candidates must arrive at their designated JEE Main 2026 exam centre at least two hours before the examination begins. As indicated on their admit card, each candidate will be assigned a seat corresponding to their Roll Number. They must locate and sit only in the allocated seat.
Additionally, candidates are required to bring the following documents and items to the exam centre:
- A printed copy of the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 admit card, along with the Self Declaration (Undertaking) form, was downloaded from the NTA website. The document must be a clear A4-size printout and fully completed.
- One passport-size photograph, identical to the one uploaded during the online application, is to be affixed on the attendance sheet at the exam centre.
- An original, valid, and unexpired photo identification document. Acceptable forms of ID include:
- School Identity Card
- PAN Card
- Driver’s License
- Voter ID
- Passport
- Aadhaar Card/E-Aadhaar
- Ration Card
- Class 12 Board Admit Card (with photograph)
- Bank Passbook (with photograph)
- If applicable, candidates claiming relaxation under the PwD/PwBD category must carry the certificate issued by an authorised medical officer. For those requiring specific accommodations, a certificate confirming the need for alternative examination arrangements must also be presented.
- A simple, transparent ballpoint pen to use during the exam.
