The Dental Sciences department of Buddha Institute of Dental Sciences and Hospital (BIDSH) admits BDS undergraduate students and MDS postgraduate students. The Buddha Institute of Dental Sciences admits students to its BDS and MDS programs based on their performance in the NEET UG and NEET MDS, respectively. Three diploma programs—dental mechanics, dental hygienist, and dental operating room assistant (DORA)—are also available for enrolment at the institute. In nine specialisations, Buddha Institute of Dental Sciences provides 100 BDS and 39 MDS seats. The school also accepts applications under the Management and NRI Quota programs.

The undergraduate Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program at Buddha Institute of Dental Sciences lasts for five years. For a period of three years, the Buddha Institute of Dental Sciences offers the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) at the postgraduate level in each of the nine dental science specialities. Candidates' scores from the NEET MDS are used to determine their admission to the MDS program at the Buddha Institute of Dental Sciences.
