SNU was established in the year 2017 under “The Sister Nivedita University Act.” SNU has been built on the path of Sister Nivedita, blessed under the shadow of Swami Vivekananda at Kolkata, West Bengal. Sister Nivedita University is a private university recognized by UGC & AICTE, AIU, (NAD) of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, BCI, Indian Nursing Council, COA, and Pharmacy Council of India.

1. SNU Kolkata offers UG, PG, Diploma & Ph.D courses in various streams through 15 schools of study.
2. Admission to various courses at SNU Kolkata is based on a valid score in SNUET (Sister Nivedita University Entrance Test).
