Founded in 2000 as Medicaps Institute of Technology and Management, the institution was renamed Medicaps University in 2016. DAIICT B.Tech Admission 2024

DAIICT offers admission to its B.Tech program through different categories: All India Category based on JEE-Main scores, Gujarat Category based on GUJCET, and NRI & Foreign National (DAFS) Category. The B.Tech program includes specializations in Information and Communication Technology, Mathematics and Computing, and Electronics and VLSI Design. Additionally, the institute offers a B.Tech (Hons.) in ICT with a minor in Computational Science. The tuition fee for DAIICT's B.Tech program is INR 1,50,000 per semester, with an additional registration fee of INR 2500 per semester.

DAIICT B.Tech Eligibility

All India Category

• Students must have passed the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent.
• The candidate must have passed in final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and any one of Chemistry/Bio-technology/Computer Science/Biology.
• Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 01 October 1999 are eligible.
• A provisional admission will be granted to candidates appearing in the qualifying examination. However, candidates who are offered provisional admission will be required to the proof of having passed 10+2 or equivalent by October 30, 2024, failing which the provisional admission will stand cancelled.

Gujarat Category

• Students must have passed the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent. Seats will be filled as per the guidelines of ACPC (Admission Committee for Professional Courses).

Foreign and NRI Students (DAFS) category

• Categories to be considered for non-resident Indians include Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card holders, Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) Card Holders.
• Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 01 October 1999 are eligible to apply.
• XII or equivalent from any education system as recognized by the Association of Indian University (AIU), New Delhi in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Computer Science/Biotechnology/ Biology.
• If grades are awarded, the candidate must have secured a minimum GPA of 6 on a 10-point scale. In case of marks, 60% aggregate in the qualifying examination is required.

DAIICT B.Tech Selection Criteria

All Indian Category:

• Admission will be strictly based on JEE-Main 2024 Rank. In order of their merit in JEE-Main 2024, short-listed candidates will be offered admission (confirmed/waitlisted).

Gujarat Category:

• Admission will be based on valid scores in GUJCET.

NRI/FN Category:

• SAT score with a minimum score of 1068. OR All India Rank of Joint Entrance Examination 2024 (JEE-2024) Main with a minimum score of 75 percentile.

DAIICT M.Tech Admission 2024

DAIICT offers a two-year M.Tech program with specializations in Machine Learning (ML), Software Systems (SS), VLSI and Embedded Systems (VLSI & ES), and Wireless Communication and Signal Processing. Admission to the M.Tech program is open to both GATE-qualified and non-GATE-qualified candidates. Non-GATE candidates are selected based on nationwide entrance exams. The program is available to students in the All-India Category as well as the Gujarat Category.

The tuition fee for DAIICT's M.Tech program is INR 71,000 per semester, with an additional registration fee of INR 2500 per semester.

DAIICT M.Tech Selection Criteria

The basic selection criteria for M.Tech at DAIICT is as follows:

• For GATE-Qualified candidates: A merit list for admission will be prepared based on GATE scores followed by a counseling. Counseling for allotment of specialization will be done online.
• For Non-GATE-Qualified candidates: An entrance exam is conducted for non-GATE candidates. The non-GATE entrance test is based on the GATE 2024 EC and CS disciplines syllabus.

DAIICT M.Sc Admission 2024

DAIICT offers M.Sc programs in specialized fields including Information Technology, Data Science, and Agriculture Analytics. Eligibility for DAIICT M.Sc Admission requires a Bachelor’s degree in any stream with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks. The tuition fees range from INR 65,000 to INR 1,37,000 per semester depending on the chosen specialization, with an additional registration fee of INR 2500 per semester.

DAIICT M.Sc Eligibility

• 60% aggregate in Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University in any stream.
• Candidates appearing in their final Degree examination and expecting to complete it by July 2024 may also apply. However, the final admission will be obtained based on an aggregate of 60% marks.

DAIICT M.Sc Selection Criteria

DAIICT M.Des Admission 2024

DAIICT offers a 2-year M.Des program in Communication Design. Admission to the M.Des program requires a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum aggregate of 60% or its equivalent. The total seat intake for the M.Des program at DAIICT is 20 students per year.

DAIICT M.Des Eligibility

• A bachelor’s degree with 55% aggregate in the relevant field. (Design, Science, Engineering, Technology, Humanities, Social Sciences, Fine Arts, Applied Arts and Performing Arts)
• Candidates with professional diplomas from institutions like NID, NIFT, CEPT and Srishti School of Art and Design are also eligible.
• There is no age limit applicable to this program.

DAIICT M.Des Selection Criteria

• Candidates with a valid CEED score will be selected for interview if they have qualified Part A and have obtained a minimum of 25 marks in Part B.
• Candidates for this program without a valid CEED score will be selected for interview through a Design Aptitude Test (DAT) to be conducted through online proctored Test.
• The final selection will be based on the combined scores attained in the DAT and the interview. The DAT will constitute 60%, and the interview 40% of the overall marks assigned to the admission test.
  

The tuition fee for the M.Des program at DAIICT is INR 1,04,000 per semester, with an additional registration fee of INR 2500 per semester.

DAIICT Ph.D Admission 2024

DAIICT offers Ph.D. programs in two modes: Regular (Full-time) and Part-Time (Rolling admission). Admission for the Regular Ph.D. program is conducted twice a year, prior to the Autumn semester (July) and the Winter semester (December). Eligible entrance exams for admission include NET, JRF, DST Inspire, PM scholarship, or Visvesvaraya PhD scheme.

• For ICT and Related Domains: M.Tech/M.C.A/M.Sc/M.Phil/B.Tech or equivalent degree in ICT/ CS/ EC/ IT/ EE/ IN/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Physics/ Bio-informatics/ Electronics or other appropriate disciplines with 60% marks
• For Computational Science, Mathematics and Physical Sciences: M.Sc/M.Tech/M.Phil/B.Tech/BE or equivalent degree in Engineering Physics/ Computational Science/ Computer Science/ Scientific Computing/ Physics/ Mathematics/ Electronics/ Bioinformatics or other appropriate disciplines with 60% marks.

DAIICT Ph.D Selection Criteria

• Candidates will be shortlisted based on performance in entrance test
• Final selection will be made through an interview.
