Excel Business School was established in 2007 by the Shri Rengaswamy Educational Trust (which is situated in Komarapalayam). It maintains an affiliation with Anna University. The institution offers comprehensive full-time MBA and MCA programs, in addition to an integrated MBA course. The MCA program is accessible through both Regular and Lateral Entry modes. Minimum eligibility for the MBA and MCA programs requires a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate (or 45% for those in reserved categories). To qualify for Lateral Entry into the MCA, however, candidates must possess a BCA or B. Sc degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
