The National Centre for Management of Agricultural Extension (commonly referred to as MANAGE) was founded in 1987 by the Ministry of Agriculture. This autonomous institute is situated in the state of Hyderabad. It sprawls over an artistically landscaped area of 17 hectares (which includes beautiful lawns, academic blocks, residential blocks, a library, computer centers and various other facilities). The Institute offers specializations exclusively in postgraduate diploma courses in agricultural management; however, it does so with a focus on practical application.
Founded in 1987 as the National Centre for Management of Agricultural Extension, the National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE) in Hyderabad was initiated by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India. The acronym 'MANAGE' (which stands for its original purpose) reflects this origin. In the NIRF 2023 rankings, however, the National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management Hyderabad achieved a position of 97th in the 'Management' category. Although it is a noteworthy accomplishment, some may argue that there is room for improvement; this remains a crucial aspect of its ongoing development.
Students are afforded numerous multifaceted infrastructural amenities at the National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE) in Hyderabad. They can utilize these facilities throughout their academic tenure. Separate hostels exist for both girls and boys; medical services are also available.
