IIM Sirmaur offers scholarships in two main categories to support students financially. Type 1 scholarships include Need-Based Scholarships, awarded to meritorious students after evaluating academic background, family income, and other factors. Special Scholarships for Women encourage women to pursue corporate careers by offering reserved quotas. Scholarships for Toppers are available to students excelling in their first year, while financial aid is also provided for SC/ST students as per government norms.

Type 2 scholarships provide additional support for PhD students, including a monthly stipend of INR 30,000 for five years, contingent on performance and attendance. Start-Up Grants of INR 60,000 are available for students with start-up ideas during their first year. Contingency Grants of INR 25,000 per year are offered for 2–5 years to cover hardware and software expenses. Post-Proposal Stipend Grants increase the monthly stipend to INR 32,000 after the proposal phase. Off-campus students receive an HRA of INR 5,000 per month. National Conference Grants of up to INR 20,000 annually are available for the first five years, while International Conference Grants of INR 2,00,000 over five years are provided to deserving students.
