The Indian Maritime University (IMU)—a central institution under the Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India—holds a unique position as the only university within the nation that provides quality education in the maritime domain. Each year, Indian Maritime University offers a range of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs to its students. Admissions for these various undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs—excluding the BBA course—are conducted through the IMU Common Entrance Test (CET).
