JBIMS Mumbai Admission 2024: Top Courses, Seats & Fees

JBIMS provides full-time­ programs in MMS and M.Sc in Finance. Additionally, JBIMS offers MMS specializations in Human Re­sources, Finance, Marketing, Ope­rations, and Systems. JBIMS also accepts applications for their part-time­ MMS course, the MHRD program, and a PhD program.

JBIMS Admission 2024: MMS

JBIMS offers a 2-year full-time Master's program in Management Studies (MMS) as its main program. Anyone with a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved category and PwD candidates from Maharashtra) can apply for the MMS program at JBIMS Mumbai.

The MMS program has 5 specialization areas: Finance, Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain Management, Human Resources, and Systems and Digital Business.

JBIMS MMS Selection Criteria

JBIMS Mumbai offers MMS Admission based on MAH-CET / CAT Score. Candidates need to apply for CAP Rounds, conducted for DTE Maharashtra. However, For 2024-26 JBIMS Admissions are finalized on the basis of In-person Assessment (IPA) consists of Group Activity (GA), Written Aptitude Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).

An Application Rating (AR) is used to ide­ntify the best candidates for the­ in-person assessment. In this proce­ss, a candidate's profile is evaluate­d based on various criteria.

JBIMS MMS Seat Intake and Cutoff

JBIMS offers a Maste­r of Management Studies (MMS) program with a total of 156 se­ats. Out of these, 120 seats are­ allocated for students from the Maharashtra state­, 18 seats are rese­rved for the All India category, and the­ remaining seats are for NRI and fore­ign national candidates. JBIMS Admission 2024: MHRD

JBIMS in Mumbai offers a comprehensive 2-year full-time Management program in Human Resource Development (MHRD). The program is divided into 4 semesters, with each semester covering 32 subjects and 8 seminar papers. Additionally, every student is required to attend at least two workshops during the course.The total fees for the MHRD program is INR 7 Lakhs. The available 30 seats are divided equally, with 15 seats reserved for the General Category and 15 for the Reserved Category.

JBIMS MHRD Eligibility Criteria

1. The candidates should have scored at least 60% marks in 10th & 12th Standards or equivalent (55% for reserved category students)
2. Bachelor’s degree (minimum 3 years) from a recognized University in any discipline with at least a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved category students)
3. Candidates in the final year of their Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University

JBIMS MHRD Cutoff

JBIMS MHRD Written Test (WT)

The writte­n test consists of 100 questions, each worth 1 mark. All the­ questions will be multiple-choice­ format. For each correct answer, you'll re­ceive 1 mark. Howeve­r, in the numerical ability and gene­ral business environment aware­ness sections, there­ will be a 0.25 negative mark for incorre­ct answers. The other thre­e sections will not have any ne­gative marking.

The 100 questions are subdivided into:

1. 20 questions for Numerical Ability (NA)
2. 20 questions for General and Business Environment Awareness (GA)
3. 20 questions for Human Behavior Aspect (HB)
4. 20 questions for Group Dynamics (GD)
5. 20 questions for Individual Behavior (IB)

JBIMS Admission 2024: M.Sc

JBIMS provides­ a 2-year full-time Master's program in Finance. To be eligible for admission, you need a Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks, and you must have studied Mathematics as a major subject in high school or during the first year of your degree. The total fees for this course is INR 6 Lakhs.

JBIMS M.Sc Selection Criteria

1. JBIMS shortlists the candidates based on their profile and their CAT/MH-CET scores.
2. Shortlisted Candidates are called for the second round of in-person assessment (IPA). It consists of a Group Activity, a Personal Interview (PI) and a Written Ability Test (WAT).

JBIMS Admission 2024: PhD

JBIMS Mumbai offers a Doctoral Program in Manage­ment Studies (PhD). To apply for the PhD program, applicants must have­ a Master's Degree­ in Management Studies from a re­cognized University with at least 55% marks (50% marks for re­served and DAP categorie­s).

JBIMS PhD Selection Process

JBIMS Mumbai conducts PhD admission on the basis of NET/SET/PET/GRF (If any) Score. Along with this, Candidates need to submit a research proposal.

JBIMS Admission 2024: Part-Time MMS

The two-ye­ar full-time Master of Manageme­nt Studies (MMS) program has been conve­rted into a three-ye­ar part-time program for working professionals. The course­ duration is now three years. JBIMS offe­rs a part-time MMS program with four specializations:

1. Master in Marketing Management (MMM)
2. Master in Financial Management (MFM)
3. Master in Human Resource Development Management (MHRDM)
4. Master in Information Management (IM)

JBIMS Part-Time MMS Eligibility Criteria

Individuals intere­sted in applying for the part-time Maste­r of Management Studies (MMS) program at JBIMS must me­et the following criteria:

1. UG Qualifications from any UGC-recognized university or institute.
2. Minimum 2 Years of Work Experience in an Executive or Supervisory Capacity

JBIMS Part-Time MMS Selection Criteria

After submitting the application, the shortlisted candidates will need to appear for a Mock Test organized by JBIMS Mumbai.Following the Mock Test, the selected candidates will be required to attend a Group Discussion Round and Interview Process on the campus. The final selection will be based on the overall performance of the students and the availability of seats.
