Undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate programmes in engineering, management, science, law, fine arts, pharmacy, architecture, humanities, and agriculture are all available for admission at KL University in Guntur. Entrance is the basis for admission to all courses at KL University. Candidates are chosen for admission to the BTech programme at KL University based on their performance in sports and cultural activities, merit in state-level engineering entrance exams across India, JEE Main, JEE-Advanced, and KLEEE (KL Engineering Entrance Examination).
For BTech admissions, the university also accepts Uni-GAUGE results. Entrance to KL University for BArch is determined by NATA and KLEEE. Candidates are chosen for admission to KL University's B.Pharm programme based on KLEEE scores. Written exams and interviews are used for admission to KL University's B.Com, BBA, BBA-LLB, BBA-MBA, BCA, BA, BSc, BFA, and BSc HM programmes.
KL (Deemed to be) University offers B.Tech, Integrated B.Tech, B.Pharm, and B.Arch programs in various specializations at the UG level. The basic eligibility criteria are 10+2 from a recognized board with at least 60% marks in the related subject group. For admission to B.Tech, the candidate should fulfill the following required eligibility:
B.Sc, BCA, BA, B.Com, LL.B, BBA & LL.B programs are offered in different schools of KL University. 10+2 pass candidates are eligible to apply for these courses except for LL.B for which Graduation degree is mandatory.
Merit-Based admission is offered in BA and LL.B courses while students have to qualify in the written test and interview to secure admission in BBA, BBA+MBA, B.Sc, BHM, BCA and B.Com programs. Final admission is granted on the basis of an interview round.
The minimum eligibility criteria for M.Tech. program is a relevant BE/ B.Tech or M.Sc degree with an aggregate of 55% marks. MA/ M.Com, MBA and M.Sc programs also require a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline with at least 55% marks in aggregate.
M.Tech, MA, M.Com and M.Sc admission is based on candidates’ performance in academics followed by an interview. In case of M.Tech. program, GATE qualified candidates are also eligible to apply.
MBA program requires a valid score on KL (Deemed to be) UniversityBSAT conducted by the university or score in CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ICET followed by an interview.
KL (Deemed to be) University offers Ph.D. programs in full-time and part-time modes in several specializations. A master’s degree in the relevant discipline with at least 55% marks in aggregate is the minimum eligibility criteria to file an application for these courses.
Ph.D. application forms can be filled online twice in a year, i.e. in the months of June and December. Students have to participate in the entrance test organized by the university followed by an interview. Selection is done purely on the basis of merit.
