About Mangalmay Institute of Engineering & Technology (MIET)

Mangalmay Institute of Engineering & Technology (MIET), one of the top National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) accredited institutions, was founded in 2002. The graduate programmes provided by Mangalmay are accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD, New Delhi. It is also associated with Dr A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow (formerly known as UP Technical University).

Library

More than 25,000 volumes, journals, periodicals, magazines, and compendiums on a wide range of subjects are available at the library. The library is entirely automated, and library automation software is used for all tasks. OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) allows users to conveniently search the library's collection using various criteria, including title, author, publisher, subject, topic, ISBN, and more.

Medical Services

For the immediate and manageable medical needs of students and employees, MIET maintains a first aid treatment facility. The institute offers a network of hospitals to provide all students with free care for common medical issues. There is no cost for the consultation. Leading doctors from hospitals on the college's panel will visit the students regularly while classes are in session. The campus also has the infrastructure to cater to the needs of the differently abled. 

Sports Facilities

Students can access indoor and outdoor sports facilities during and after college hours. The college has a sports council that organises the annual sporting event and intercollegiate competitions. Throughout the academic year, interdepartmental sporting events are also held. College teams are scheduled to compete in intercollegiate events at the state, collegiate, and other levels.
