MITE Admission

Mangalore Institute of Technology & Engineering (MITE), established in 2007, offers B.E., M.Tech., MBA, and Ph.D. programs across various disciplines. Admissions to the B.Tech and M.Tech programs are based on JEE Main and GATE scores, while MBA admissions are conducted through CMAT. For Ph.D. programs, the institute conducts its own entrance exam followed by a Personal Interview. Applicants can download the application form from the official MITE website. Eligibility criteria include passing the Higher Secondary Examination in the Science stream for B.Tech and holding a relevant graduate degree for PG courses.

Application Process for MITE

1. Candidates can download the application form from the official MITE website.
2. Eligibility for B.E./B.Tech requires candidates to have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 45% aggregate in the Science stream.
3. M.Tech applicants must have an undergraduate degree in a relevant field with at least 50% aggregate.
4. MBA applicants need to have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate.
5. Ph.D. candidates must hold a master's degree in the relevant discipline.
6. Admission to B.E./B.Tech programs is based on scores from entrance exams like KCET or COMEDK UGET.
7. M.Tech admission is through valid GATE, KCET, or Karnataka PGCET scores, while MBA admission is based on KCET, MAT, KMAT, or CAT scores.
8. Ph.D. admission involves an entrance exam conducted by MITE followed by a personal interview.
