MGPGI has collaborated with Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) and Government General Hospital, Puducherry for sophisticated diagnostic procedures, investigations and academic activities.

What are the charges for the MGPGI Hostel?

MGPGI provides hostel facilities for both girls and boys along with intern students. The charges for a single room are Rs. 8550 per annum and for a double-sharing room is Rs. 7550 per annum. The hostel facility depends on the availability of seats.

What is the procedure for admission to the BDS course by CENTAC for domicile students at MGPGI?

For admission to the BDS course at MGPGI, for Puducherry domicile students, CENTAC will publish a merit list based on NEET Rank. Allotment will be based on reservation applicable, eligibility, category of seats and NEET Rank. There would be two rounds of counselling followed by a mop-up round.

Does MGPGI offer any scholarships to its students?

No, MGPGI does not provide any scholarships to students yet. The meritorious students or the top rankers may get awards and prizes from the college. However, the students can apply for various government scholarships on their own. The economically weaker students can apply for fee concessions, however, its grants depend on the college administration.
