The MIT School of Distance Education, established in 1983, is situated in Pune, Maharashtra. It provides distance learning opportunities, including a Diploma course in two specializations and a Post Graduate Diploma course (PGD) across sixteen specializations at the postgraduate level. Specifically, the PGD in Business Management (PGDBA) is available in seven specializations. Both the Diploma and PGD courses last one year; however, the Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBA) is conducted over a two-year period.

Application Process for MIT School of Distance Education

1. Candidates can fill up the application form available on the official website.
2. There is no application fee which needs to be paid for applying to the courses at MITSDE.
3. Course fee can be paid online through the payment gateway on the MTSDE website.
4. Candidates are required to send in the following list of documents for verification via email to admissions@mitsde.com.

Documents Required for Admission

1. Two passport size photographs, one pasted and the other attached to the application form ID card sized. Name and contact number should be written behind the photograph.
2. Photocopy of Graduation / Diploma / Provisional Certificate / 12th and 10th Std.
3. Service Certificate, for Diploma holders and Defense Personnel.
4. Name Change Document, if applicable.
5. For NRI / International students, a foreign address is mandatory with an address proof or photocopy of passport page showing visa of foreign country.
6. Undertaking in case of Diploma holder's experience is over 2-year, but less than 3-year.
7. Photo ID Proof such as Passport, PAN Card, Driver's License and Aadhar Card.
8. Demand Drafts (DD) drawn in favor of "Executive Director - MITSDE" payable at Pune. Name and contact number should be written behind the DD.
9. Online print out of the fees paid, in case of online applications.

MIT School of Distance Education PG Admission

The MIT School of Distance Education provides the Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) program across 16 specializations, as well as the Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBA), which encompasses 7 distinct specializations. Individuals who possess a Bachelor’s degree in any field and have at least 3 years of professional experience are eligible to apply for the PGD and PGDBA programs. However, meeting these criteria does not guarantee admission, because competition can be intense. This structure allows for a diverse cohort of students.
