The Naipunnya Institute of Management and Information Technology (NIMIT) was established in 1998. It stands as one of the most distinguished affiliated colleges, situated in Thrissur, Kerala. NAAC accredited, NIMIT is recognized as a premier institution of higher education, having made a significant impact on academic delivery. This institute spans an area of 7.5 acres. It has evolved into a multi-disciplinary institution because it offers 14 courses across 9 degree programs, specializing in Computing Science, Management and Commerce streams. At present, the total enrollment population of this institute is 1,442, which renders NIMIT a vibrant academic environment.
The college provides distinct hostel accommodations for both boys and girls (which ensures) comfortable living conditions for all students. It features a well-equipped library, accessible to every student, as well as various sports facilities aimed at promoting physical activities.
