The 2023 placement report for Pondicherry University is not yet available; however, the NIRF 2023 report has been published. According to this report (NIRF 2023), a total of 2616 students completed their UG and PG programs and out of these, 1782 students secured placements. Among those placed, there are 255 UG students and—somewhat surprisingly—1557 PG students. Although the figures are promising, one must consider the overall context of the job market, because these numbers reflect only a portion of the entire graduating cohort.
