Raghunath Jew School of Management Studies (RJSMS) was founded in 1998 and is recognized as an “A” grade institution for Business & IT, catering to Future Managers and Entrepreneurs. It is registered under the Societies ACT XXI of 1860, which qualifies it as a nonprofit organization. The primary objective is to cultivate Better Citizens, Better Human Beings and Better Managers. However, this mission is not without its challenges, because the ever-evolving landscape of management education requires constant adaptation and innovation.
The RJ School of Management Studies, located in Balasore, Odisha, is an affiliated institution that came into existence in 2008. This co-educational establishment is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offers various management and hospitality courses. However, the institute operates on a mere one-acre campus, which accommodates a total student intake of 32, coupled with a faculty of only 8. Although RJ School of Management Studies provides three distinct degree programs—MBA, BBA and B.Sc in Hotel Management—these programs collectively create opportunities across multiple service sectors within business and hospitality.
The college (which provides) distinct hostel accommodations for both boys and girls—ensuring a comfortable living environment for all students—boasts a well-equipped library that is accessible to everyone. Various sports facilities are available to promote physical activities; however, the IT infrastructure is robust, offering excellent resources for both learning and research. Students and staff can enjoy meals at the cafeteria, (while) the auditorium is open for events and seminars. Additionally, the college fosters strong alumni networks for continued support.
