The university provides a variety of specializations in B.Tech, B.Pharm, B.Sc., BBA, B.Com, BFA, LL.B., and BCA programs. The university bases admissions decisions on a candidate's achievement in the SU-JEE exam.

The joint scholarship cum entrance exam, or SU-JEE, is offered both offline and online. There are 100 multiple-choice questions in the 120-minute test. This test has 'No-Negative' marking applied to all questions.

The university provides a variety of specialties in M.Pharm, M.Tech, M.Sc., MBA, M.Com, LL.M., MCA, and MA programs. The university bases admissions decisions on a candidate's achievement in the SU-JEE exam.Candidates with valid scores in the GPAT, GATE, CAT, MAT, XAT/MAH MBA CET, or CLAT for the M.Pharm, M.Tech, MBA, and LL.M programs, respectively, will be given preference over those with a valid SU-JEE score.

Candidates must also appear in the rounds of group discussions and personal interviews for M.Tech and MBA programs.

Candidates must have passed the SSC (10th Standard examinations) from an accredited board with a minimum of 35% overall in order to be admitted to diploma programs.

The SU-JEE exam results of candidates are also taken into consideration for admission to diploma programs.

Sandip university offers Ph.D. program in full-time as well as part-time modes in various streams. Master’s degree from a recognized university is the desired eligibility criteria for admission. The university conducts SUN Ph.D. Entrance Test (SUNPET) to offer admission in Ph.D. program.
