The admissions process for the 2-year full-time MBA program at SJMSOM, IIT Bombay, in 2024 will primarily rely on CAT scores, followed by a Personal Interview. Ultimately, (the) final admissions at SJMSOM are determined by the composite score derived from both the CAT and the Personal Interview. In addition to the MBA, SJMSOM offers an Interdisciplinary Dual Degree Program (IDDDP) in Management, as well as EMBA and PhD courses. Notably, the IDDDP in Management is specifically tailored for 4th-year B Tech/BS/Dual Degree students enrolled at IITB.

Application Process for Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management

1. The application form can be filled online by visiting the official website of the school.
2. Click on the Apply Online link and fill in the required details.
3. Applications are also required to submit the research proposal (at least 1500 words) on a topic of their research interest in place of the Statement of Purpose. The proposal should contain problem identification, a brief review of the Literature and the proposed methodology.

Documents Required for Admission

1. Scan copy of signature and photograph
2. Mark sheet of the last semester / consolidated mark sheet of the qualifying degree. Result awaited candidates have to upload their latest or previous semester’s mark sheet.
3. Caste Certificate (OBC-NC / SC / ST), if applicable.
4. An affidavit for having applied, if the certificate is not yet received.
5. PwD Certificate, if applicable.
6. Sponsorship certificate, if applicable.
7. Research proposal (if applicable), as a single file irrespective of the number of disciplines.
   • The application fee for women/SC/ST and PWD candidates is INR 150/- while INR 300/- for others.
   • Application fee should be paid through Debit Card / Credit Card / SBI Net Banking or Online Payment System.
