Surajmal University (established in 2021) was created as a private institution aimed at delivering innovative, modern and relevant education that integrates practical knowledge with ethical values. As numerous social programs (initiatives) begin to emerge under the aegis of this establishment, efforts will be made to expand the frontiers of new knowledge and artistic expression. This endeavor will not only encourage heightened civic engagement but will also, ultimately, yield solutions to some of society's most pressing challenges.
Surajmal College of Engineering and Management (SCEM), located in Kichha, is an affiliated institution established in 2008. This coeducational college spans an area of 12.168 acres in Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand. SCEM provides a diverse array of programs, including B.Tech, MBA, Diploma and PGDCA courses. The sanctioned strength of students at this college is 137; however, the faculty comprises only 7 members. Although the college offers numerous opportunities for learning, the student-to-faculty ratio raises some concerns. Because of this, many prospective students may weigh their options carefully.
The college provides distinct hostel accommodations for both boys and girls (ensuring) a comfortable living environment for all students. It features a well-equipped library that is accessible to all students, along with diverse sports facilities designed to promote physical activities. The IT infrastructure is robust, offering excellent resources for learning and research. Students and staff can enjoy meals at the cafeteria; however, the auditorium is available for events and seminars.
