Vels University offers a variety of programs for students including undergraduate, postgraduate and research opportunities in fields like Engineering, Maritime Studies, Nautical Science, Coastal and Ocean Engineering, Animation, Film and Television Production and more. Additionally the university provides diploma courses in different areas of specialization. To secure admission into its undergraduate and postgraduate programs applicants are required to participate in the VELS entrance examination (VEE) and attend counseling sessions for seat allocation.
To get into the B.E and B.Tech programs applicants need to pass the VEE entrance exam held nationwide. The undergraduate program at the university is just as varied and unique as its professional courses. However getting into the Vels University undergraduate program is easier compared to the professional courses. There are several eligibility criteria that need to be met for each undergraduate course. To qualify for the MBA and MCA programs at Vels University candidates must fulfill certain requirements and succeed in the Vels Entrance Test (VEE). The selection process for these courses will take into account the candidates merit in the entrance test as well as their performance in the qualifying examination. Those applicants who meet the criteria will be called for an interview where their performance will be evaluated alongside their entrance test score to determine their admission status. The process for getting into M.E. and M.Tech programs is pretty much the same as other professional courses. Prospective students need to pass the VEE exam to be eligible for admission. Vels University offers a variety of programs for students including undergraduate, postgraduate and research opportunities in fields like Engineering, Maritime Studies, Nautical Science, Coastal and Ocean Engineering, Animation, Film and Television Production and more. Additionally the university provides diploma courses in different areas of specialization. To secure admission into its undergraduate and postgraduate programs applicants are required to participate in the VELS entrance examination (VEE) and attend counseling sessions for seat allocation.

The undergraduate program at the university is just as varied and unique as its professional courses. However getting into the Vels University undergraduate program is easier compared to the professional courses. To qualify for the MBA and MCA programs at Vels University candidates must fulfill certain requirements and succeed in the Vels Entrance Test (VEE). The selection process for these courses will take into account the candidates merit in the entrance test as well as their performance in the qualifying examination.
