Woxsen was established in 2014 as a business school. It later expanded to include a School of Arts & Design, which was recently ranked 2nd among top design schools in India (private category). Woxsen also has a School of Architecture & Planning and a School of Technology (Engineering).
The placement drive at our university saw remarkable success this year. All MBA students secured jobs, achieving a 100% placement rate. Similarly, the placement rates for BDes and BBA programs stood at 97% and 100% respectively. The highest salaries offered were an impressive INR 17 LPA for MBA graduates and INR 8.25 LPA for BBA students during the 2023 placements at Woxsen University Hyderabad.
Admission process was a simple one as it had only two rounds, an aptitude test (Woxsen Aptitude Test-WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).
Admission to Woxsen University is done through entrance tests. Woxsen University accepts National Entrance Tests like CLAT, SAT, JEE, CAT, MAT, etc. It also conducts its own entrance tests like the Woxsen Entrance test ( WAT) for general courses, Woxsen Joint Engineering Entrance Test (WJEET) for engineering courses, and the Woxsen Design Aptitude test (W-DAT) for admission to design courses. Students who clear the entrance exams have to give a psychometric test prior to getting admission.
