1. Academic Qualification

  1. Candidates must have passed Class 12 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects.
  2. Minimum marks required in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology combined:
    • 50% for General/EWS category
    • 40% for SC/ST/OBC category
    • 45% for PwD candidates (General category)

2. Entrance Examination

  • Qualifying the NEET-UG 2025 is compulsory for admission into MBBS programs in both government and private medical colleges in Punjab.
  • All India Quota (15%) admissions are handled through MCC counselling.
  • Punjab State Quota (85%) admissions are conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS).
