KCET 2026 Counselling Procedure

Qualified candidates can then register and understand the steps beforehand to ensure a smooth and timely admission and participate in the counselling process after the results declaration.

1. KCET Registration and Document Verification

Candidates must report to the KCET counselling venue with original documents and two photocopies. After successful verification, they will receive a slip containing a unique ID and password.

2. KCET Choice Filling and Locking:

After document verification, candidates must log in to the KCET portal using their ID and password to fill in college and course preferences. The seat matrix (course, category, and college-wise) will be available during choice filling. Candidates can add, modify, or delete choices in each round, so they should  choose carefully.

3. KCET Seat Allotment:

After choice filling, KEA releases the KCET 2026 mock allotment based on merit and preferences. Candidates can log in with their CET number to view results, modify choices, and check final allotment. Two regular rounds, one extended, and one special round of allotment will be held. Download and print the provisional allotment letter.

4. Reporting to the Allotted College:

Candidates must report to the allotted institute by the given deadline with their documents, allotment letter, and fee payment to confirm admission.
