Aarupadai Veedu Medical College (AVMC), located in Kirumampakkam, pondicherry, was established in 2000 and is affiliated with Vinayaka Mission University (VMU), Salem. AVMC offers a five-and-a-half-year MBBS program at the undergraduate level and three-year MD and MS programs at the postgraduate level, along with two-year diploma courses.
