Admissions Process for ABES Engineering College

Eligibility Criteria for Admission

• Programme - B.Tech

Duration - 4 Years

Eligibility Criteria -

1. Passed 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics / Chemistry/ Computer Science/Electronics/Information Technology/ Biology/Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/Entrepreneurship.(Any of the three)

2. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together

OR

Passed min. 3 years Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

(The Universities will offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing, etc., for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to achieve desired learning outcomes of the programme).

• Programme - B.Tech (Lateral Entry to Second year)

Duration - 3 Years

Eligibility Criteria - Passed minimum three years / two years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in any branch of Engineering and Technology.

OR

Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognised University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.

OR

Passed D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector.

(The Universities will offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing, etc., for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to achieve desired learning outcomes from the programme)

• Programme - MCA

Duration - 2 Years

Eligibility Criteria - 1. Passed BCA/Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or an equivalent degree.

OR

1. Passed B.Sc/ B.Com/ B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation Level (with additional bridge Courses as per the norms of the concerned University).

2. Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the qualifying examination.

• Programme - MBA

Duration - 2 Years

Eligibility Criteria - 1. Passed Bachelor Degree of minimum 3 years duration

2. Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the qualifying examination.

• Programme - M.Tech (Through Counselling)

Duration - 2 Year

Eligibility Criteria - 1. With at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA for General & OBC Candidate (45% for SC/ST).

2. Candidates with a valid GATE score shall be admitted on a preferential basis

3. M.Tech(CSE) – Passed B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science / Information Technology / CSE / CS&IT / MCA

4. M.Tech(ECE) – Passed B.E. /B.Tech in Electronics & Comm Engg / Electronics Engg /Electrical Engg./ Instrumentation & Control Engineering /Electrical& Electronics Engg / Electronics & Instrument

OR

As per directive of University

• Programme - M.Tech (Direct Admission)

Duration - 2 Year
