Army Institute of Management Admission

Army Institute of Management, Kolkata (AIM Kolkata) offers a postgraduate diploma program in management with dual specialization options across six fields. Supported by the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES), New Delhi, it provides opportunities for both wards of Army personnel and general candidates. Affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University, AIM Kolkata's MBA courses include specializations in Marketing, Human Resource, Finance, MIS, Business Analytics, and Operations. Admission to the PGDM program is conducted through CAT, with shortlisting based on percentile scores. Shortlisted candidates undergo Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds, with final selection contingent on past academic records, test scores, and GD PI performance. The online application for the MBA program commences in December, with an application fee of INR 600 for General candidates and INR 500 for Army wards.

Application Process for AIMK

1. Download the application form from the official website or collect the hard copy from the Admission office of the institute.
2. Pay the application fee in cash, if you are collecting directly from the admission office
3. If downloaded application form, after filling, is submitted at the admissions’ office, make a Demand Draft in favour of 'Director AIM' payable at Kolkata and submit it along with other supporting documents with the application form.
4. The application fee for MBA programs is INR 600 for General candidates and INR 500 for candidates who are Army wards
5. Fill in the application form and submit it either through the post or in person.
6. Completed applications should be submitted to the admission office of Army Institute of Management, Kolkata.
7. Keep the acknowledgement receipt for future reference

1. Original Degree Certificate (2 sets of photocopies).
2. Original Migration Certificate from the University last attended.
3. Split mark sheets of graduation (2 sets of photocopies).
4. CAT scorecard (2 sets of photocopies).

AIM Kolkata MBA Admission 2023

Six specialisations are available in the two-year standard MBA programme offered by Army Institute of Management, Kolkata. It concentrates on offering this to both general candidates and the wards of Army troops.Applicants who are the offspring of eligible active duty members, eligible veterans, and eligible widows of the Army.

AIM Kolkata MBA Eligibility

• Final year graduate students can also apply, provided they have to submit their final aggregate score CGPA/Percentage by June
• 20% of the seats for the General category candidates and remaining reserved for the candidates who are the wards of Army personnel.

AIM Kolkata MBA Selection Criteria

1. Shortlisting of the candidates for Group Discussion and PersonaI Interview is based on score in the admission test and past academic scores of the candidates.
2. The cut off of the CAT score for the MBA programs is 60+ percentile.
3. Candidates will be intimated regarding their shortlisting through email / sms to their registered email address and phone number
4. Candidates will be called for GD and PI rounds to AIM Kolkata. Candidates must carry the following documents for every round till admission,
   • Original Degree Certificate (Photocopies-2).
   • Original Migration Certificate from the University last attended.
   • Split mark sheets of graduation (Photocopies-2).
   • CAT score card (Photocopies-2).
   • Passport size photographs (5)
5. The final merit list shall be drawn on the basis of admission score, past academic records, work experience (if any), performance in GD & PI.
6. Candidates will be intimated over email/on the website about their final selection; and shall be asked to pay online an amount of INR 60,000 through SBI Collect.
