Assam Don Bosco University offers graduate, post-graduate, and doctoral-level programs. B.Tech, BCA, BA, B.Com (Hons.), B.Pharm, etc are offered at the UG level while M.Tech, MSW, M.Sc, MCA, MA, MBA, etc are offered at the postgraduate level. Assam Don Bosco University also offers Ph.D. in 15 specializations.
The selection of candidates in first-year B.Tech is based on the merit in the qualifying examination and entrance test i.e. JEE Main/ State Entrance Test/ Don Bosco University Graduate Entrance Test. Admission to second-year B.Tech will be based on the candidate’s performance in the Don Bosco University Graduate Entrance Test (DBU-GET).
Assam Don Bosco University offers a General MBA and MBA in Aviation. Candidates seeking admission in any MBA specialization have to appear for CAT/ GMAT/ XAT/ MAT/ JMAT/ CMAT/ DBU-PGET. The minimum eligibility requirement for an MBA is to be a graduate in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks. Final selection will be based on past academic records, entrance scores, performance in group discussion and personal interview.
M.Tech is offered in four specializations viz. Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Each specialization has a total intake of 24 students. The basic eligibility is to be a Graduate in a relevant stream of Engineering and Technology with 60% aggregate marks.
Candidates having a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline with 55% aggregate marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale are eligible to apply. Selection is based on the merit in the qualifying, Don Bosco University ‘Aptitude for Research’ Test (DBU-ART) and personal interview.
Assam Don Bosco University offers BCA, BBA, B.Sc., BA, B.Com and B.Pharm as undergraduate programs. BA (Hons.) is offered in seven specializations. The admission process is based on the first-cum-first-basis. The minimum education qualification required is pass in 10+2 with at least 50% aggregate marks.
