Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Sciences (CIMS), established in 2001 and located in Bilaspur, is affiliated with Ayush and Health Sciences University of Chhattisgarh, Raipur, and funded by the State Government. The institute offers MBBS at the undergraduate level and MD at the postgraduate level, both recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI). Admission to MBBS is based on NEET UG ranks for Chhattisgarh State, with eligible candidates required to have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English, securing at least 50% in 12th grade (45% for reserved categories). For MD admissions, candidates must appear in NEET PG and have completed an MBBS degree with a one-year internship. CIMS Bilaspur Undergraduate Admissions 2024

CIMS offers five and a half year MBBS degrees, which include a one year rotating internship requirement. There are one hundred students admitted each year. 15% of the total seats are set out for All India Quota candidates, while 3% are designated for Central Government nominees. Candidates from the states will fill the remaining 82% of the seats. Eligible students will be assigned seats according to their NEET UG rankings and merit.Candidates must have completed their class 12 exam with English, Biology/Biotechnology, and Physics/Chemistry as core courses, as well as qualifying on the NEET UG, in order to be considered for admission.

CIMS Bilaspur Postgraduate Admissions 2024

The institute provides three concentrations in its MD program at the postgraduate level. A candidate must appear in NEET PG in order to be considered for admission under the state quota. Following that, candidates with state residency are invited to counseling by DME, Raipur, and seats are assigned based on availability at the counseling session.

1. Candidates need to register at online within the dates provided by the counselling body.
2. They must fill-up the registration form by providing mandatory details. The registration ID and user password created at the time of registration should be saved for future reference.
3. The cost of registration is INR 1000 for general category candidates and INR 500 for reserved category candidates.
4. Also, candidates need to get their documents verified within the given schedule.
5. The final admissions will be done on reporting at the institute and paying requisite admission fees.
