The undergraduate MBBS program at Dr. Somervell Memorial CSI Medical College and Hospital has a five-year duration.Candidates for the MBBS program must have finished their 10+2 exams with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology / Biotechnology as required courses. Additionally, candidates must have received a minimum of 50% (45% for those in restricted categories) overall in the 10+2 board exam.

The NEET (UG) entrance exam results of the applicants will determine their admission to the MBBS program. The NEET counseling process will be used to assign seats.

For postgraduate study, Dr. Somervell Memorial CSI Medical College and Hospital provides MD and MS courses. There are six specializations available for the MD course, and five specializations for the MS course.In order to be considered for postgraduate studies, candidates must obtain an MBBS degree from an accredited institution and have successfully completed a year-long rotating internship. In addition to meeting these prerequisites, candidates must be registered with the State Medical Council (SMC) or Medical Council of India (MCI) in order to be taken into consideration.
