The Federal Institute of Science and Technology, commonly referred to as FISAT, is consistently ranked among the premier Science and Technology Institutes in India. FISAT is affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (AKTU), Kerala. It holds accreditation from NAAC, receiving an “A+” grade; however, it is also accredited by the NBA. Over the past two decades, the Institute has evolved into a leading Science and Technology Institute, offering a diverse array of employment-oriented technical programs. Because of this, it attracts many students who seek quality education in the field. Although challenges exist, FISAT remains committed to excellence in education and research.

This institution is a self-financing private engineering college, nurtured by the Federal Bank Officers’ Association Educational Society (FBOAES). Currently, FISAT Ernakulam offers programs at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels; however, some research programs leading to PhD degrees are also available. Although the college provides a variety of educational opportunities, it is important to note that some students may find certain areas more challenging because of the rigorous curriculum. But, overall, the college aims to foster a supportive learning environment.
