Graphic Era University Scholarship 2024

Graphic Era University, Dehradun is a place where financial support is given to students who deserve it so as to ensure that they all have same access to good quality education. The students who deserve it can get a number of scholarships as well as financial help from the university.

Academic Scholarship

1. Academic Scholarships are offered in all courses based on the candidate's merit in the qualifying examination.
2. The scholarship bracket allocated at admission remains fixed throughout the course duration.
3. To avail of the scholarship in each semester, a minimum CGPA of 7.0 is required.
4. If a candidate fails to score a 7.0 CGPA or above in any semester, the scholarship won't apply for that specific semester. However, it can be reinstated if they achieve the required CGPA in subsequent semesters.
5. The amount of Academic Scholarship is clearly mentioned in the fee structure and remains constant for the entire course duration.
6. Other scholarships and concessions are available, but they are separate from the Academic Scholarship and are detailed in the Fee Structures for respective courses.

Fee Concession for Female Candidates

1. 10% Fee Concession for Female Candidates
2. Empowering females in various disciplines is a key goal of the Scholarship structure.
3. An additional 10% scholarship is provided to female candidates across all courses on the Net Tuition Fee.
4. The scholarship is applicable to candidates irrespective of whether they are availing Academic Scholarship or not.

Fee Concession for Wards of Defence Personnel

1. 5% Fee Concession for Wards of Defense Personnel, Graphic Era University acknowledges and values the service rendered by the brave personnel of the Indian defence forces. As a gesture of gratitude, the university offers a blanket fee concession of 5% on the Net Tuition Fee for candidates who are children of Defense Personnel.
2. The fee concession is applicable to both current and ex-servicemen from the Indian Armed Forces, including the Indian Army, Indian Air Force, Indian Navy, and all Paramilitary Forces. It applies to candidates at all levels of study.
3. To avail of the fee concession, the candidate is required to provide valid proof of their parent(s) being employed in the mentioned categories of the defence forces.

Loyalty Concession

1. Loyalty Concession: 10% off on Net Tuition Fee for candidates with a UG Degree from any institution under Graphic Era Group of Institutions, irrespective of the gap between graduation and enrolling in a PG course.
2. Sibling Concession: 7.5% off on Net Tuition Fee for immediate siblings of current students at Graphic Era, and 5% off for immediate siblings of Graphic Era alumni. Some text
   • Concession applicable only to real siblings, not cousins or distant relatives.
   • If multiple real siblings seek admission together, only one will be eligible for the Sibling Concession.
   • If a current student becomes an alumni during their younger sibling's course, the concession changes from 7.5% to 5%.
3. Both concessions aim to provide financial assistance and foster a sense of family within the Graphic Era University community.
