About GGSIPU Admission

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) or IPU admission process typically begins in the month of March or April. Candidates who wish to apply for admission to any of the programs offered by IPU can apply online on the official website of the university. IPU offers over 50 programs at the UG, PG, and Research levels. Admissions at IPU are based on Common Entrance Test (IPU CET), conducted by the university, or scores obtained in the national-level entrance examinations.

Admission to UG and PG courses will also be done through the common university entrance test (CUET), conducted by NTA. The preference will be given to IPU CET and national-level test scores for respective programs and CUET scores will be given second preference. For admission to BTech, B.Arch, B.Des, BALLB/BBALLB, and Medical courses, candidates are required to appear in the JEE Main, NATA, UCEED, CLAT UG, and NEET examinations, respectively.

For the final selection, a merit list will be based on the candidate's performance in the qualifying examination and the entrance examination conducted by the university. Candidates who meet the cutoff marks are then called for counseling, where they can choose their preferred program and college based on their rank and availability of seats.

Application Process of GGSIPU 2024

Visit the official website of IPU - ipu.ac.in
Go to the Admission Section on the homepage and click on “Apply Online”
Click on “IPU Registration 2024” to proceed further
Click on “Fresh Candidate Registration” in order to signup at IPU admission portal
Read the terms and conditions carefully and click on “I Agree” to proceed further
Fill in the necessary details like Name, Mobile No, Email ID, and create your user id and password
Click on Submit button and you’ll be redirected to the login page
Now, log in using you user id and password
Step 8: Fill the application form by providing General and Professional Information along with Payment details
Upload the scanned copies of the required documents
Verify the details you have provided in the form and check the Declaration box
Submit the application form and pay an application fee of INR 1500/- by Credit/ Debit Card or through Net-Banking
After fee submission, course details along with transaction ID will be displayed
Download and take a printout of the application form for further reference

IPU provides many college programs for students with basic academic skills. Students must pass tenth and twelfth grade exams to join. IPU tests students and selects based on scores. IPU CET Eligibility 2024

Candidates must have the following basic eligibility requirements to apply for IPU CET 2024 exam:

Candidates who have cleared Class XII from a recognised board are eligible to take the exam.
Those candidates who have achieved at least 55% and above in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible to take the exam.
Candidates must possess a passing grade in English.
The age limit for the exam would be 21 years on the date of the exam for undergraduate programmes.
The age limit for the exam would be 35 years on the date of the exam for postgraduate programmes.
